Elderberry Pond is a fruit and vegetable farm located in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. We produce a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, herbs and cut flowers on 36 acres of tillable land.
The Restaurant at Elderberry Pond is located on our farm in a wooded area overlooking the orchards, vineyards and seasonal vegetable plantings. Our menu features fresh produce picked daily on the farm and other local farms. We offer carefully selected meats, fresh seafood and an excellent selection of wines and beers.
We pride ourselves on offering fruit and vegetable varieties known for their culinary qualities. For example, we grow over 50 varieties of apples including some specifically for baking and others for cider production.
The farm has been managed using sustainable practices since 1983. Farming practices at Elderberry Pond focus on maintenance of bio-diversity on the entire farm both above and below the ground. Insects and plant diseases are controlled with natural amendments, with traps and by encouraging beneficial insect populations.
